Due Città project has the ambition of being a real landmark and a driver of initiatives for the city. The idea is to provide not only new services that will be accommodated within the new facilities, such as a conference centre, commercial and cultural areas, but also to restore and revive existing structures in the immediate surroundings. We have the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre that can be revitalised and brought back to the centre of the public scene, the public park (English park) that will be redeveloped and directly connected to the new development. In this way, a direct connection will be made between the city centre and this new ‘centrality’. In addition, the project will act as a stimulus for the reopening of the Circus, a service that will bring families and school children to the area. The project therefore aims to reconsider the whole area as a new neighbourhood where services, sociality and new infrastructure can live in harmony.
